This country is relatively new to the tug-of-war sport and have been in contact with TWIF for some years. It requested TWIF advice and assistance to establish a national tug-of-war association. The country is very focussed on setting up a national structure for competitions and training of judges and coaches and have invited TWIF experts to further assist in the training and instructing of the coaches and judges. In 2017 the City of Wroclaw (formerly known as Breslau) is Host City for The World Games. The Town Hall (Polish: Ratusz) of Wroclaw stands in the centre of the citys Market Square (rynek) is well known and has a long history. Painting Easter eggs is an activities which done in many countries. In Poland it is a very old tradition which is considered to symbolise the revival of nature. The decorations on the eggs is very artistic.
